Privacy
This page describes what the software actually does. There is no account, no login and no newsletter, and nothing here asks you for your name.
Your photo
A photo you choose is converted and shrunk in your browser, sent once to our server, held in memory for the single request that reads it, and passed to the analysis provider that writes the report. It is not written to disk, to object storage or to logs, and it is not kept after the response is sent. Nothing you upload is added to the sample gallery on this site.
The analysis provider receives the image for the duration of that one call and returns the report. Providers keep their own logs under their own terms; ours holds no copy.
The report
The written report is stored under an unguessable 32-character link so you can reopen it. That link is the only credential: anyone who has it can read the report, so treat it like a password. Report pages carry a noindex header and are excluded from the sitemap and from search engines.
A report that is never unlocked is deleted after three days. An unlocked report is kept for a year, after which it is deleted as well. There is no way for us to recover a report after it expires.
Analyses you buy
A purchase creates an anonymous credit balance identified by another unguessable link, which is stored in your browser and included in your receipt email. It is not tied to a person: it records how many analyses were bought, how many are left and when the purchase happened, and nothing else.
Payments
Payments are handled by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. We never see or store card details. We receive a confirmation that an order was paid, the order and checkout identifiers, and the email address Polar sends the receipt to. Refunds and tax questions go through Polar under their terms.
Analytics
Product events are counted — a page opened, an upload started, an analysis finished or failed, a checkout opened, a purchase completed. They carry no image, no report text, no file name, no report link and no IP address, and they are not attached to a person profile. Analytics are processed in the European Union.
Abuse limits
To keep the service usable, uploads are rate limited per visitor. The counter is keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address; the address itself is not stored.
Your requests
Because nothing here identifies you, the practical way to remove data is to let a report expire, or to write to us with the report link you want deleted. We will delete it.
